This is one of a douzen ideas i had on how to draw the CSS fairy
It started as a photomanipulation, but as i didn't like the pasted look of it more and more was painted, until i screwed the idea of the manipulation and went ahead with drawing everything... And now i know again why i love to draw single silly creatures... i really have no patience for details!

And before anyone get's too excited, the book and it's ornaments and the upper body of the fairy are traced, omfg!! Why? Because in case of the the book i was too lazy to make some nice ornaments and i have a lot of old books lying around here. The one i used for this is about 100 years old. And for the fairy... because =blissart said i'm the CSS fairy she had to look similar to me. I hate drawing myself and to let it look a bit like myself i used the outlines of a photo i made for this.
Still i'm not able to draw faces and hands... i don't like all those tiny shadows... one too big and it looks like crap
Before anyone starts shouting it's cheating: i don't care My book, my photo, my drawing!
